Driving outside Maputo (the Capital of Mozambique) is always and experience in seeing how people live and work.  It is a stark difference to the sophistication and diversity that is a hallmark of this city.  Here are some photos taken through the car window on our 8 hour drive to and from Tofu Beach during the holidays.

 Sierra saw mangos for sale along the road and we HAD to stop and get some.  They were $1 for the bag and delicious.  The lady who sold them to Sierra took her money and hopped on the truck that stopped for her just after we got back into our car. The kids are ours
